17 foot Fiberglass and Inflatable Boats
Rent our coast guard style boats for your next marine adventure. Accommodating 4-5 people, these boats are most comfortable in group of 2-5 adults. These Inflatable boats are easy to drive and sufficiently light to maneuver when docking at an official dock. Rental includes the first tank of gas, up to 5 life vests (children and youth vests are available), oars, bailer and all the necessary safety equipment.
Price is based on max occupancy of 5 persons. The boat can accommodate up to 7 people maximum with a surcharge of $20/hr/person for a 6th and 7th person.
Our comfortable Fiberglass Speed Boat is perfect for a small group of family. Easily accommodating 4 persons, a 5th can be welcomed with alternative seating arrangements. This boat comes with a Bimini providing shelter from hot sun and rain along with clear plastic walls that can be installed for colder days.

Yamaha WaveRunner VX Deluxe (Maximum Capacity 3)
Accommodating up to 3 people, these fun and playful Jetskis are the most comfortable with 1 or 2 per ski. Easy to control and well maintained, these toys are nothing but fun on the water. Explore the open waters or the inlets of the Howe Sound with this refreshing ride on a hot summer day.
Rentals include life vest for all participants, 1 wetsuit rental, safety equipment stored in the vessel and the first ¼ tank of gas. Wetsuits are mandatory to be worn on the jetski. If you have your own 3mm or thicker wetsuit, bring it along! If not, we provide wetsuit rentals for a 2nd or 3rd participant on the jetski at $40 per person.

Kayaks, Canoes and SUP boards
Looking for a bit more of a workout or a calmer tour around the Sound? Check out squamishwatersports.com for details on our self-propelled rental options. We have single and double Kayaks as well as Canoes, plastic Stand Up Paddleboards and Inflatable Paddleboards all at competitive prices.
Rental Policies
- All clients wishing to drive must be at least 21 years old, proficient in English and have a valid Driver’s License. There is a maximum of 2 permitted drivers per rental vessel.
- No towing is permitted with any of our rental vessels. Wakeboarding services are available through Squamish Watersports Guided Services.
- Our shortest rental period is 2 hours.
- Rental period of less than 3 hours do not include the price of a Temporary Boat License. If the driver does not have a valid PCOC card, a temporary boat license and training can be completed for an additional $25 per driver.
- A $1000 deposit is required for all motorboat rentals. This deposit must be paid in full prior to the rental period. If the vessel is returned undamaged the deposit will be refunded. If any damage is detected the deposit will be held until the damage can be properly assessed.
- Credit Card information is also kept on file while the equipment is out for rental.
- Rates advertised do not include additional fuel or applicable taxes.
- We have a 48-hour Cancellation policy. The Full rental fee will be charged for any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.
- Jetski rentals are inclusive of 1/4 tank of fuel, boat rentals are inclusive of 1 full tank of fuel. Any additionally used fuel is charged at $3.3/L
- No alcohol or drugs are permitted on the vessels. We reserve the right to search any bags being brought on board.
- We reserve the right to cancel any reservation at the client’s expense at any time if the clients are showing signs of intoxication or disregard for safety and local water regulations.
- Boat Licences are required. A maximum of 2 temporary boat licenses can be issued with every rental vessel for rentals of 3 hours or longer. For shorter rental periods, a temporary boat license can be issued for an additional $25 per driver.
- GPS trackers are located on board all rental vessels.
- Pets are not permitted on rental vessels
